Here's the true story of my first time. I've kept this to myself for weeks and have to get it out. Backstory, i'm 40 yr old straight male. I've been curious every since my early 20s. It started when I first got my own place. Shy early 20s kid in really good shape but single a lot of the time. I grew up in the world of gymnastics, so the sport helped me come out and admit to myself that I was gay at an early age. It helped that no one on my team judged me because we were all so focused on what the judges thought. My teammates and I often congratulated each other when we accomplished the unthinkable — and didn't care who we were kissing after the meet.

What follows are 25 first gay experiences stories as told by men who identify as straight. To gather their narratives, we asked the Guy Counseling community to come forward and share. In a sexual context, bottoming is the act of taking a dick or a dick-shaped object in your ass. On one level, bottoming is really no big deal — if you like riding dick, go ahead and ride it. But on another, butt-fucking is still cloaked in myth and stigma.

Sex between consenting adults can be a fun, funny, and even awkward experience, and it should go without saying that having a same-sex experience doesn't mean the person is queer. Overall, it was enjoyable. It hasn't happened again since we returned home — it was definitely just because of the circumstances of the trip and both of us finding out that we were interested in experimenting.
